#### 147 General matters relating to Tribunal functions 147 General matters relating to Tribunal functions > > (1) For the purposes of a review of a patient, the Tribunal may communicate with any persons, take any action and make any recommendations it thinks fit. > > > (2) The Minister for Health and the Attorney General may appear before the Tribunal, or make submissions to the Tribunal, in relation to any of the following— > > > > > (a) the possible release of or grant of leave of absence to a forensic patient, > > > > > (b) a recommendation to revoke an extension order in respect of a forensic patient, > > > > > (c) the review of a patient who has been apprehended following an order by the President of the Tribunal under this Act. > > > (3) A review of the case of a forensic patient or a correctional patient under this Act may be conducted at the same time as any other review of the patient under this Act. > > > (4) An order by the Tribunal under this Act must be in writing. > > > (5) The Tribunal must inform the Minister for Police and Emergency Services, the Minister for Health and the Attorney General of an order it makes for the release of a person and of the date of the person’s release. > > **s 147:** Am 2023 No 35, Sch 2.9.
