sec.340 Appointment of authorised mental health practitioner
The administrator of an authorised mental health service may, by instrument in writing, appoint a health practitioner as an authorised mental health practitioner. However, the administrator may appoint a person under subsection (1) only if satisfied the person has the competencies, stated in a policy, necessary to be an authorised mental health practitioner. (sec.340-ssec.1) The administrator of an authorised mental health service may, by instrument in writing, appoint a health practitioner as an authorised mental health practitioner. (sec.340-ssec.2) However, the administrator may appoint a person under subsection (1) only if satisfied the person has the competencies, stated in a policy, necessary to be an authorised mental health practitioner.
