sec.264 What is a reduction and elimination plan
A reduction and elimination plan is a written plan, for a relevant patient, developed by an authorised doctor that provides for the reduction and elimination of either or both of the following— the use of mechanical restraint on the relevant patient; the seclusion of the relevant patient.
- (a) the use of mechanical restraint on the relevant patient;
- (b) the seclusion of the relevant patient.
