152 Offence—unauthorised administration of electroconvulsive therapy (1) A person commits an offence if— (a) the person administers electroconvulsive therapy to a person; and (b) the person is not a doctor. Maximum penalty: 100 penalty units, imprisonment for 1 year or (2) A doctor commits an offence if— (a) the doctor administers electroconvulsive therapy to a person; and (b) the electroconvulsive therapy may not be administered to the person under this division.
