81 Definitions for this Division

In this Division –

interested person means –

(a) the controlling authority of the SMHU; and

(b) the person who applied for the leave (if not the patient); and

(c) if applicable, the patient's intended escort; and

(d) the Tribunal; and

(e) the Commissioner of Police; and

(f) if applicable, the Secretary (Corrections); and

(g) if applicable, the Director; and

(h) if applicable, the Secretary (Youth Justice);

responsible authority means –

(a) [Section 81 Amended by No. 4 of 2023, s. 96, Applied:25 Sep 2023] the Chief Psychiatrist; or

(b) the controlling authority of the SMHU; or

(c) the treating medical practitioner; or

(d) an approved medical practitioner.
