(1) The Link corporation and the Extension Corporation are deemed to be government agencies for the purposes of Part 5 of the Emergency Management Act 1986.

(2) Subsection (1) does not prevent the Link corporation or the Extension corporation from receiving compensation under section 24 of the Emergency Management Act 1986 for the taking and use of the corporation's property under that section.
(3) This section applies despite anything to the contrary in the Agreement.
