120 Proceedings for offences

(1) Proceedings for an offence under this Act or the regulations may be dealt with—

(a) summarily before the Local Court, or

(b) summarily before the Supreme Court in its summary jurisdiction.

(1A) Subsection (1) does not apply in relation to proceedings for an offence against section 85B(1), 85C(3) or 85C(5).

(2) Proceedings for an offence must be commenced not later than 2 years from when the offence was alleged to have been committed.
