sec.184 Application of part
This part applies in relation to an entity that establishes or uses an electronic system for— making or transmitting prescriptions for dispensing medicines; or retrieving prescriptions for dispensing medicines, including recording information relating to the dispensing of the medicines. An electronic system mentioned in subsection (1) is an electronic prescription management system . To remove any doubt, it is declared that the monitored medicines database is not an electronic prescription management system. (sec.184-ssec.1) This part applies in relation to an entity that establishes or uses an electronic system for— making or transmitting prescriptions for dispensing medicines; or retrieving prescriptions for dispensing medicines, including recording information relating to the dispensing of the medicines. (sec.184-ssec.2) An electronic system mentioned in subsection (1) is an electronic prescription management system . (sec.184-ssec.3) To remove any doubt, it is declared that the monitored medicines database is not an electronic prescription management system.
- (a) making or transmitting prescriptions for dispensing medicines; or
- (b) retrieving prescriptions for dispensing medicines, including recording information relating to the dispensing of the medicines.
