sec.244 Equivalent administrative action

This section applies if a provision of this part provides that a suspension or cancellation of a former authorisation is taken to be administrative action. The administrative action has effect to the same extent as the suspension or cancellation of the former authorisation. However, if a new authorisation is equivalent to a cancelled HDPR authority, the administrative action is taken to be the indefinite suspension of the new authorisation. To remove any doubt, it is declared that the suspension or cancellation of the former authorisation that is taken to be administrative action must be included in the administrative action register. (sec.244-ssec.1) This section applies if a provision of this part provides that a suspension or cancellation of a former authorisation is taken to be administrative action. (sec.244-ssec.2) The administrative action has effect to the same extent as the suspension or cancellation of the former authorisation. (sec.244-ssec.3) However, if a new authorisation is equivalent to a cancelled HDPR authority, the administrative action is taken to be the indefinite suspension of the new authorisation.
