4 Transitional Arrangements
(1) From the date of commencement of this Specification until the day 18 months after the date of commencement of this Specification[1] medicines in a prescribed class must comply with the requirements specified in Schedule 1 to this Specification.
Note 1: Nothing in (1) is intended to prevent a person from complying with the requirements in Schedule 2 in relation to a medicine in a prescribed class between the date of commencement of this Specification and the day 18 months after the date of that commencement, if they wish to do so.
(2) From the day 18 months after the date of commencement of this Specification[2], medicines in a prescribed class must comply with the requirements specified in Schedule 2 to this Specification.
