This Determination sets the Australian Medical Research and Innovation Priorities for 2024–2026 that will guide how the Medical Research Future Fund directs funding. It commences on 6 November 2024 and ceases after two years.
It affects researchers, institutions and applicants by shaping which areas the MRFF prioritises for grants and investments. The instrument is made under subsection 32E(1) of the Medical Research Future Fund Act 2015 and contains its substantive priorities in Schedule 1.

(1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

This instrument is made under subsection 32E(1) of the Medical Research Future Fund Act 2015.
Pursuant to subsection 32E(5) of the Medical Research Future Fund Act 2015 this instrument ceases at the end of two years beginning on the day the instrument commences.
