45Powers of the Authority

45 Powers of the Authority (1) The Authority has all the powers necessary to enable it to perform its functions. (2) Without limiting its other powers, the Authority may— (a) enter into agreements or arrangements for the provision of services to the Authority or for the provision of services by the Authority; and (b) fix and charge fees for the carrying out of its functions or the provision of its services or the services of inspectors; and (c) expend any part of its funds in carrying out its functions and powers, or in paying remuneration and allowances to its members. (3) In addition to its powers under this Act, the Authority has the powers conferred on it by the **Borrowing and Investment Powers Act 1987**. S. 46 substituted by No. 53/2001 s. 7.
