Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This is a short 1954 regulation that does nothing but cancel two collections of older rules.

What it does:

Scraps the Staff Regulations: It repeals (formally cancels) the Meat Export Control (Staff) Regulations that were made between 1948 and 1953.
Scraps the Fees and Expenses Regulations: It also repeals the Meat Export Control (Fees, Salaries and Expenses) Regulations made between 1947 and 1953.

Why it matters: This is administrative housekeeping. Rather than having multiple outdated versions of the rules in circulation, this regulation tidies up by formally ending the old ones. This likely cleared the deck for new, consolidated rules to be introduced separately, though this document only handles the "out with the old" part.

Who it affects: Public servants and inspectors working in meat export control in 1954, as it changed which rulebook governed their employment conditions, salaries, and expense claims.
