52Interpretation

#### 52 Interpretation In this Division, unless the contrary intention appears: > diplomatic or consular officer, in relation to an overseas country, means a person recognised by the Government of the Commonwealth as a diplomatic or consular representative of that overseas country in Australia. > proclaimed overseas country means an overseas country in respect of which a Proclamation under section 54 is in force. > the Registrar means the Registrar of Foreign Marriages.
