#### 53 Requirement to facilitate boarding (1) A maritime officer may require the person in charge of a vessel, installation or aircraft to take reasonable steps to facilitate the boarding of the vessel, installation or aircraft. > Note: It is an offence to fail to comply with a requirement under this subsection: see section 103. (2) The requirement may be made by any reasonable means. (3) The requirement is made whether or not the person in charge of the vessel, installation or aircraft understands or is aware of the requirement.
