#### 12 When international agreements and decisions apply An international agreement or international decision applies to a vessel, installation or aircraft at a particular time if: (a) the agreement or decision provides for the exercise of powers by Australia in relation to the vessel, installation or aircraft at that time; and (b) either: (i) the agreement or decision is prescribed by the regulations; or (ii) the Minister has approved the exercise of powers under the agreement or decision in relation to the vessel, installation or aircraft, and the approval has not lapsed. > Note 1: For international agreement and international decision, see section 8. > Note 2: For approval by the Minister, see Division 3 of Part 2.
