74 Applications for marine safety licences

(1) An application for a marine safety licence must—

(a) be made to the responsible regulator in the form approved by the responsible regulator, and

(b) be accompanied by the particulars and documents required by the responsible regulator (including, for example, medical assessments), and

(c) be accompanied by such proof of identity documentation as is required by the responsible regulator, and

(d) be accompanied by the relevant fee specified in Schedule 11, and

(e) comply with any other requirements of this Part in relation to applications for the type of marine safety licence concerned.

(2) A reference in this Division to an application for a marine safety licence includes a reference to an application for a further marine safety licence whether or not made before or after the expiry of the previous licence.

(3) The responsible regulator may waive any of the requirements of this Regulation in relation to an application for a further marine safety licence.
