#### 68 Offences relating to fixing of builders plates on vessels 68 Offences relating to fixing of builders plates on vessels > > (1) This clause applies to a vessel that is required to have a builders plate fixed to it under this Part when sold in New South Wales. > > > (2) A person must not fix a builders plate to a vessel to which this clause applies if— > > > > > (a) the person has reason to believe that the information on the builders plate is incorrect or does not comply with the ABP Standard, or > > > > > (b) the information on the plate has not been approved by a person authorised to approve information. > > > (3) A person must not alter the information on a builders plate that is fixed to a vessel to which this clause applies if— > > > > > (a) the person has reason to believe that the information will be incorrect if so altered or will not comply with the ABP Standard, or > > > > > (b) the information as so altered has not been approved by a person authorised to approve information. > > Maximum penalty—50 penalty units.
