8 Definition of domestic commercial vessel—prescribed activities for use of vessel

For paragraph 7(4)(b) of the National Law, the following activity is prescribed—an activity that includes a person, for consideration, training another person (the trainee): (a) either: (i) for a vessel owned by a school—who is not a student at a school (whether or not at the school that owns the vessel or another school); or (ii) for a vessel owned by a community group—who is not a member of the community group; or (b) for a trainee other than a school student—to enable the trainee to obtain a licence that is needed to meet a legislative requirement.
