52 Revocation of certificate of operation

(1) The National Regulator must revoke a certificate of operation if: (a) an application for revocation of the certificate has been made under section 49; and (b) the National Regulator is satisfied that the criteria prescribed by the regulations in relation to revocation on application are met. (2) The National Regulator may revoke a certificate of operation on the National Regulator’s initiative if the National Regulator is satisfied that: (a) the criteria prescribed by the regulations in relation to revocation on the initiative of the National Regulator are met; and (b) it is desirable to do so, having regard to the objects of this Law. (3) Without limiting subsections (1) and (2), the National Regulator may revoke a certificate of operation if the National Regulator is satisfied that the holder of the certificate is not a fit and proper person to hold the certificate.
