#### 36 Offence—removal or alteration of a unique identifier (1) A person commits an offence if: (a) the person removes or alters a unique identifier that is displayed on a domestic commercial vessel; and (b) the removal or alteration is not permitted by the regulations. Penalty: 60 penalty units. (2) An offence against subsection (1) is an offence of strict liability. > Note: For strict liability, see section 6.1 of the Criminal Code.
