#### 144 Offence of breaching a condition of exemption (owner) (1) The owner of a domestic commercial vessel commits an offence if: (a) an exemption under section 143 in relation to the vessel is subject to a condition; and (b) the owner breaches, or causes or permits another person to breach, the condition. Penalty: 60 penalty units. (2) An offence against subsection (1) is an offence of strict liability. > Note: For strict liability, see section 6.1 of the Criminal Code.
