241Registration as a pilotage services provider

241 Registration as a pilotage services provider S. 241(1) amended by No. 34/2023 s. 127(Sch. 1 item 7.113(a)). (1) On receiving an application under section 240, Safe Transport Victoria must register the person as a pilotage services provider if Safe Transport Victoria is satisfied that the person has the competence and capacity to carry out pilotage services safely. S. 241(2) amended by No. 34/2023 s. 127(Sch. 1 item 7.113(b)). (2) For the purposes of subsection (1), Safe Transport Victoria must have regard to whether the person meets or satisfies the prescribed requirements (if any).
