218 Indemnity for waterway managers The Crown must indemnify a waterway manager against any liability in respect of any loss or damage suffered by the waterway manager in respect of anything necessarily or reasonably done or omitted to be done by the waterway manager in good faith— (a) in the exercise of a power or the performance of a function under this Act; or (b) in the reasonable belief that the act or omission was in the exercise of a power or the performance of a function under this Act.
