173D Return of pilot licence
(1) A person whose pilot licence has been suspended or cancelled under section 173A must, not later than 7 days after the suspension or cancellation takes effect—

(a) return the pilot licence to Safe Transport Victoria; or
S. 173D(1)(b) amended by No. 34/2023 s. 127(Sch. 1 item 7.61).
(b) if the pilot licence has been lost, stolen or destroyed, give Safe Transport Victoria a statement, verified by a statutory declaration, that the pilot licence has been lost, stolen or destroyed.
Penalty: 10 penalty units.

(2) If a pilot licence held by a person is suspended and it has not expired when the suspension ends, Safe Transport Victoria must return the pilot licence to the person.
