sec.83 Effect of authorisation

If the holders of the accreditation give a person an authorisation under the condition, the person may carry out the authorised activity to which the authorisation relates. For carrying out the authorised activity— the person is taken to be a member of the traditional owner group in whose name the application for the accreditation of the agreement was made; and the conditions imposed on the accreditation of the agreement and any other conditions stated in the agreement apply to the person. To remove any doubt, it is declared that the giving of an authorisation mentioned in subsection (1) does not prevent the holders of the accreditation from carrying out, under the accreditation, an activity of the same type as the authorised activity. (sec.83-ssec.1) If the holders of the accreditation give a person an authorisation under the condition, the person may carry out the authorised activity to which the authorisation relates. (sec.83-ssec.2) For carrying out the authorised activity— the person is taken to be a member of the traditional owner group in whose name the application for the accreditation of the agreement was made; and the conditions imposed on the accreditation of the agreement and any other conditions stated in the agreement apply to the person. (sec.83-ssec.3) To remove any doubt, it is declared that the giving of an authorisation mentioned in subsection (1) does not prevent the holders of the accreditation from carrying out, under the accreditation, an activity of the same type as the authorised activity.
