The following zones are established for the marine park— general use zone; habitat protection zone; conservation park zone; marine national park zone. The zones are listed in ascending order of the level of protection given to them under this plan. The boundaries of the areas comprising each zone are described in schedule 1 . For this plan, if the boundaries of 2 zones described in schedule 1 overlap, the area of the overlap is taken to be part of the zone with the higher level of protection under this plan. To help users of this plan, an indicative map showing all of the zones is available for inspection on the department’s website. The indicative map is not applied, adopted or incorporated by this plan.
