sec.71 Giving notice under this part

This section applies if the chief executive is required to give a notice under this part to— the applicant for accreditation of a traditional use of marine resources agreement; or the holders of an accreditation of a traditional use of marine resources agreement. The chief executive complies with the requirement if the chief executive gives the notice to the person nominated under section 72 (3) (b) (ii) by the traditional owner group in whose name the application for accreditation of the agreement was made. (sec.71-ssec.1) This section applies if the chief executive is required to give a notice under this part to— the applicant for accreditation of a traditional use of marine resources agreement; or the holders of an accreditation of a traditional use of marine resources agreement. (sec.71-ssec.2) The chief executive complies with the requirement if the chief executive gives the notice to the person nominated under section 72 (3) (b) (ii) by the traditional owner group in whose name the application for accreditation of the agreement was made.

• (a) the applicant for accreditation of a traditional use of marine resources agreement; or
• (b) the holders of an accreditation of a traditional use of marine resources agreement.
