sec.33 Operating vessel in area
A person must not do either of the following in a go slow area for natural values— operate a vessel in a planing or non-displacement mode; operate a vessel for a motorised water sport. Maximum penalty—10 penalty units. This section does not apply in relation to the operation of a vessel in a navigation channel in the go slow area for natural values that is GSN02—Tripcony Bight–Long Island. In this section— navigation channel means a marine channel marked by aids to navigation within the meaning of the Transport Operations (Marine Safety) Act 1994 and placed in the marine park under that Act . (sec.33-ssec.1) A person must not do either of the following in a go slow area for natural values— operate a vessel in a planing or non-displacement mode; operate a vessel for a motorised water sport. (sec.33-ssec.2) This section does not apply in relation to the operation of a vessel in a navigation channel in the go slow area for natural values that is GSN02—Tripcony Bight–Long Island.
