sec.116 Continuation of procedure for amending or suspending accreditation of educational or research institution
This section applies if— before the commencement, the chief executive gave the holder of an accreditation of an educational institution or research institution a notice under the repealed plan, section 90 about taking proposed action under that section; and immediately before the commencement, the chief executive had not taken the proposed action or decided not to take the proposed action. Sections 96 and 97 apply for amending or suspending the accreditation as if the notice had been a show cause notice given under section 95. (sec.116-ssec.1) This section applies if— before the commencement, the chief executive gave the holder of an accreditation of an educational institution or research institution a notice under the repealed plan, section 90 about taking proposed action under that section; and immediately before the commencement, the chief executive had not taken the proposed action or decided not to take the proposed action. (sec.116-ssec.2) Sections 96 and 97 apply for amending or suspending the accreditation as if the notice had been a show cause notice given under section 95.
