The area bounded by a line starting at the most eastern point, of the marine park boundary on the northern end of Moreton Island, that is west of Heath Island (at or about the point of 27°02.320' south, 153°23.843' east) then running progressively— north along the meridian of longitude that runs through the most eastern point, of the marine park boundary on the northern end of Moreton Island, that is west of Heath Island, to its intersection with the high water line of the northern end of Moreton Island (at or about the point of 27°02.293' south, 153°23.843' east); and generally easterly along the high water line of the northern end of Moreton Island to its intersection with the parallel of latitude 27°02.192' south (at or about the point of 27°02.192' south, 153°24.589' east); and easterly along the geodesic to the intersection of the marine park boundary on the south-western side of Heath Island and the meridian of longitude 153°25.157' east (at or about the point of 27°02.107' south, 153°25.157' east); and generally north-easterly along the marine park boundary on the southern end of Heath Island to the most eastern point of the marine park boundary on Heath Island (at or about the point of 27°02.009' south, 153°25.379' east); and easterly along the geodesic to the intersection of the marine park boundary on the northern end of Moreton Island and the parallel of latitude 27°02.023' south (at or about the point of 27°02.023' south, 153°25.513' east); and generally westerly (via Heath Island Lagoon) along the marine park boundary on the northern end of Moreton Island to the starting point.

• (a) north along the meridian of longitude that runs through the most eastern point, of the marine park boundary on the northern end of Moreton Island, that is west of Heath Island, to its intersection with the high water line of the northern end of Moreton Island (at or about the point of 27°02.293' south, 153°23.843' east); and
• (b) generally easterly along the high water line of the northern end of Moreton Island to its intersection with the parallel of latitude 27°02.192' south (at or about the point of 27°02.192' south, 153°24.589' east); and
• (c) easterly along the geodesic to the intersection of the marine park boundary on the south-western side of Heath Island and the meridian of longitude 153°25.157' east (at or about the point of 27°02.107' south, 153°25.157' east); and
• (d) generally north-easterly along the marine park boundary on the southern end of Heath Island to the most eastern point of the marine park boundary on Heath Island (at or about the point of 27°02.009' south, 153°25.379' east); and
• (e) easterly along the geodesic to the intersection of the marine park boundary on the northern end of Moreton Island and the parallel of latitude 27°02.023' south (at or about the point of 27°02.023' south, 153°25.513' east); and
