sec.58 Restriction on navigating motorised vessel in no-motorised vessel area
A person must not navigate a motorised vessel in the no-motorised vessel area, unless the person has a reasonable excuse. Maximum penalty—100 penalty units. Subsection (1) does not apply to— a traditional owner for the no-motorised vessel area; or a person navigating a motorised vessel for transporting a traditional owner for the no-motorised vessel area. (sec.58-ssec.1) A person must not navigate a motorised vessel in the no-motorised vessel area, unless the person has a reasonable excuse. Maximum penalty—100 penalty units. (sec.58-ssec.2) Subsection (1) does not apply to— a traditional owner for the no-motorised vessel area; or a person navigating a motorised vessel for transporting a traditional owner for the no-motorised vessel area.
- (a) a traditional owner for the no-motorised vessel area; or
- (b) a person navigating a motorised vessel for transporting a traditional owner for the no-motorised vessel area.
