sec.36 Navigating vessel in go slow area for natural and cultural resources
A person must not do any of the following in the go slow area for natural and cultural resources— navigate a vessel in a planing or non-displacement mode; navigate a vessel for a motorised water sport; navigate a vessel at a speed greater than 6 knots. Maximum penalty—100 penalty units. However, subsection (1) does not apply in relation to navigating a vessel in a navigation channel or transit lane in the designated area. (sec.36-ssec.1) A person must not do any of the following in the go slow area for natural and cultural resources— navigate a vessel in a planing or non-displacement mode; navigate a vessel for a motorised water sport; navigate a vessel at a speed greater than 6 knots. Maximum penalty—100 penalty units. (sec.36-ssec.2) However, subsection (1) does not apply in relation to navigating a vessel in a navigation channel or transit lane in the designated area.
- (a) navigate a vessel in a planing or non-displacement mode;
- (b) navigate a vessel for a motorised water sport;
- (c) navigate a vessel at a speed greater than 6 knots.
