sec.25 Establishment of designated areas

Each of the following areas of the marine park is established as a designated area for special management— ex-HMAS Tobruk area; fish trap area; go slow area for natural and cultural resources; go slow area for turtles and dugongs; grey nurse shark area; Mon Repos area; no-anchoring area; no-motorised vessel area; Platypus Bay area; seasonal shorebird closure area; turtle protection area. The parts of the marine park comprising each designated area are described in schedule 2 . A designated area may be in 1 or more zones. To help users of this plan, an indicative map showing the designated areas is available for inspection on the department’s website. The indicative map is not applied, adopted or incorporated by this plan.
