sec.3 Interpretation of terms generally

The dictionary in schedule 11 defines particular terms used in this plan. Subject to subsection (1) , and unless this plan provides otherwise, words used in this plan have the same meaning they have in the Commonwealth Zoning Plan . However, for applying the Commonwealth Zoning Plan under subsection (2) — a reference to the Marine Park is taken to be a reference to the GBR Coast Marine Park; and a reference to the Great Barrier Reef Region is taken to be a reference to the GBR Coast Marine Park; and a reference to the Authority is taken to be a reference to the chief executive; and a reference to a permission is taken to be a reference to a permission granted under the Regulation , part 3 ; and a reference to being accredited by the Authority in accordance with the Regulations is taken to be a reference to being accredited by the chief executive under the Regulation or this plan; and a reference to an accredited educational or research institution is taken to be a reference to an educational or research institution accredited by the chief executive under the Regulation . s 3 amd 2006 SL No. 224 s 5 (sec.3-ssec.1) The dictionary in schedule 11 defines particular terms used in this plan.
