45 Bulkhead and deckhead surfaces
The owner of a regulated Australian vessel must ensure that the surface of a bulkhead or deckhead is made of material that:
(a) can easily be kept clean; and
(b) is unlikely to harbour vermin; and
(c) in the sleeping areas:
(i) is light in colour; and
(ii) has a durable, non-toxic finish.
