39 Headroom
(1) The owner of a vessel must comply with paragraph 6(a) of MLC standard A3.1.
(2) The owner of a vessel may apply for an exemption from compliance with subsection (1).
(3) AMSA may give an exemption if it considers that the application:
(a) is reasonable; and
(b) will not cause discomfort to seafarers.
