Schedule 10 Recreational facilities

(subsection 88(1))

1 Recreational facilities must at least include the following:

(a) a bookcase;

(b) facilities for reading and writing;

(c) if practicable — televisions and videos and facilities for games;

(d) a space or spaces on an open deck:

(i) to which off-duty seafarers have access; and

(ii) that is of adequate size for the size of the vessel and the number of seafarers on board;

(e) a prayer room or similar facility;

(f) facilities for recreational handicrafts;

(g) exercise facilities.
