85Separate lease

### 85 Separate lease > > (1)  A separate lease under [section 84](#GS84@EN) [(4)](#GS84@Gs4@EN) [(b)](#GS84@Gs4@Hpb@EN) is not to be issued for a term exceeding the balance of the term remaining under the original lease from which it is derived. > > > (2)  Except in a case to which [section 83](#GS83@EN) [(1)](#GS83@Gs1@EN) [(b)](#GS83@Gs1@Hpb@EN) applies, a separate lease issued under [section 84](#GS84@EN) [(4)](#GS84@Gs4@EN) [(b)](#GS84@Gs4@Hpb@EN) is subject to the same conditions and restrictions, except for any necessary variations, as the original lease from which it is derived. > > > (3)  The area comprised in a separate lease must not be subdivided into more than 4 parts as a result of a single application for subdivision. > > > (4)  The provisions of this Part apply to a separate lease issued under [section 84](#GS84@EN) [(4)](#GS84@Gs4@EN) [(b)](#GS84@Gs4@Hpb@EN) in the same manner as if it were a lease granted under [Division 3](#HP4@HD3@EN) of this Part.
