### 42A Minister to notify Parliament of approval or refusal of draft amendment in certain circumstances > [*\[Section 42A Inserted by No. 53 of 2011, s. 10, Applied:22 Dec 2011\]*](/view/html/inforce/2011-12-22/act-2011-053#GS10@EN) If the Minister – > > > > (a) makes a decision under [section 42(1)(a)](#GS42@Gs1@Hpa@EN) or [(c)](#GS42@Gs1@Hpc@EN) that is not in agreement with the relevant recommendation of the Panel; or > > > > > (b) makes a decision under [section 42(1)(b)](#GS42@Gs1@Hpb@EN) and the relevant recommendation of the Panel was that the draft amendment be rejected, or the relevant recommendation of the Panel was that the draft amendment be accepted without change and the Minister's alterations are substantive (not merely formal, clerical or trivial) – > > the Minister is to cause a notice of the decision and the reasons for it (by reference to the purpose and objectives of this Act) to be tabled in each House of Parliament within 15 sitting-days after making the decision.
