36 Withdrawal of draft amendment

(1)  [Section 36 Subsection (1) amended by No. 53 of 2011, s. 8, Applied:22 Dec 2011] The Panel, with the Minister's approval, may withdraw a draft amendment at any time before the end of the period referred to in section 35 (1) .

(2)  If the Panel withdraws a draft amendment, the Panel must –

(a) serve notice of the withdrawal on –

(i) the Minister; and

(ii) if the amendment was requested by the planning authority, on the planning authority; and

(b) give any other notice as it sees fit.
