> > (1) Anything done under the provisions of [Division 2](#HP2@HD2@EN) of [Part 2](#HP2@EN) and [Divisions 1](#HP3@HD1@EN) , [2](#HP3@HD2@EN) and [4](#HP3@HD4@EN) of [Part 3](#HP3@EN) before the commencement of the [Marine Farming Planning Amendment Act 2001](/view/html/inforce/2026-04-12/act-2001-999) is, on that day, taken to be done under those provisions as in force on that commencement.

> > (2) The Minister may give approval under [section 31(3)(a)](#GS31@Gs3@Hpa@EN) or [42(4)](#GS42@Gs4@EN) in relation to draft plans and draft amendments in respect of which anything was done before the commencement of the [Marine Farming Planning Amendment Act 2001](/view/html/inforce/2026-04-12/act-2001-999) .
