#### 28 Double jeopardy 28 Double jeopardy > A person cannot be convicted of both an offence under this Regulation or the [Marine Estate Management (Management Rules) Regulation 1999](/view/html/inforce/current/sl-1999-0102) and an offence under the [Fisheries Management Act 1994](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1994-038) (or the regulations under that Act) in respect of the same act or omission.
