(b) vessels of one of the following classes:

(2) An application for an endorsement under this regulation is to be in an approved form.
(3) An endorsement for the vessels referred to in subregulation (1)(b)(ii) and (iii) may only be made if the holder of a pilotage exemption certificate has, with a pilot, made at least 2 appropriate voyages on such a vessel in the 12 months immediately before lodging the application.
(4) The holder of a pilotage exemption certificate may request that an endorsement not restrict the use of the certificate to daylight hours if one of the voyages required under subregulation (3) was undertaken during the hours of darkness.
(5) An endorsement in respect of another pilotage area referred to in subregulation (1)(c) may be made in relation to any other pilotage area, except the Tasman Bridge restricted area, if the holder of that certificate has –

(b) passed any examinations required by MAST.
(6) Unless MAST determines otherwise, an endorsement on a pilotage exemption certificate is not to be made in respect of the Tasman Bridge restricted area.
