### 5 Jurisdiction of Authority
> The Authority has jurisdiction in and over –
>
> > > (a) the waters of all inland lakes, rivers and streams; and
> >
> > > (b) coastal waters; and
> >
> > > (c) [*\[Section 5 Amended by No. 31 of 2013, s. 36, Applied:02 Sep 2013\]*](/view/html/inforce/2013-09-02/act-2013-031#GS36@EN) any vessel, other than a vessel within the meaning of the National Law; and
> >
> > > (ca) [*\[Section 5 Amended by No. 31 of 2013, s. 36, Applied:02 Sep 2013\]*](/view/html/inforce/2013-09-02/act-2013-031#GS36@EN) domestic commercial vessels in relation to any of the matters specified in section 6(2) of the National Law; and
> >
> > > (cb) [*\[Section 5 Amended by No. 31 of 2013, s. 36, Applied:02 Sep 2013\]*](/view/html/inforce/2013-09-02/act-2013-031#GS36@EN) any matters delegated to it by the National Regulator; and
