### 31 Transfer of assets to Authority > > (1) The Minister, with the agreement of the Minister administering the [Government Business Enterprises Act 1995](/view/html/inforce/2026-04-12/act-1995-022) and after consultation with the Minister administering the [Crown Lands Act 1976](/view/html/inforce/2026-04-12/act-1976-028) , may determine which assets, rights or liabilities of a former board are to be transferred to the Authority. > > > (2) A determination under [subsection (1)](#GS31@Gs1@EN) – > > > > > > (a) has the effect of transferring any asset, right or liability specified in that determination; and > > > > > > > (b) takes effect on the day on which it is made.
