146 Compulsory acquisition of aids (1) Where, in the opinion of the Minister, it is necessary for the purposes of this Part to do so, the Minister may, on behalf of the Territory, compulsorily acquire an aid. (2) The Lands Acquisition Act 1978, other than Part IV and sections 44 and 45 of that Act, applies to the acquisition of an aid under subsection (1) as though the aid were an interest in land. (3) For the purposes of subsection (2), a reference in the Lands Acquisition Act 1978 to: (a) land, includes a reference to an aid; and (b) the Minister is a reference to the Minister administering this Act.
