142 Effect of review proceeding on decisions (1) On the commencement of a proceeding to review a decision of the Director to vary a licence, the decision is of no effect unless and until it is confirmed by the Tribunal. (2) On the commencement of a proceeding to review a decision of the Director to refuse to renew a licence, the licence remains valid until: (a) a decision is made by the Tribunal under section 50 of the Northern Territory Civil and Administrative Tribunal Act 2014; and (b) if that decision is to send the matter back to the Director for reconsideration, until a decision is made on that reconsideration. (3) Subsection (2) has effect even if, but for that subsection, the licence would have expired because of section 137.
