115 Navigation hazards (1) For the purposes of this section: (a) tropical storm includes cyclone; and (b) a vessel has met with a tropical storm if the master of the vessel has reason to believe there is a tropical storm in the immediate vicinity. (2) The master of a vessel must, forthwith upon meeting on or near his or her course with a dangerous derelict, tropical storm or any other direct danger to navigation, send all relevant information by such means of communication as are at his or her disposal, to all other vessels in the vicinity and to the prescribed persons.
