sec.5 Use of Brisbane Stadium (Lang Park) for particular special events— Act , s 30A
For section 30A (1) of the Act , each of the following special events is prescribed for the major sports facility called Brisbane Stadium (Lang Park)— a major concert— that is not more than the 12th major concert to be held at the major sports facility in a calendar year; and for which the use of the major sports facility is approved by the Minister; a religious event— that is the only religious event to be held at the major sports facility in a calendar year; and for which the use of the major sports facility is approved by the Minister. For section 30A (5) of the Act , the conditions stated in schedule 2 are prescribed for each special event prescribed under subsection (1) . For the calendar year starting on 1 January 2026, this section applies as if the reference in subsection (1) (a) (i) to the 12th major concert were a reference to the 21st major concert. - (a) a major concert— (i) that is not more than the 12th major concert to be held at the major sports facility in a calendar year; and (ii) for which the use of the major sports facility is approved by the Minister;

- (b) a religious event— (i) that is the only religious event to be held at the major sports facility in a calendar year; and (ii) for which the use of the major sports facility is approved by the Minister.
